We celebrated our village festival for 2018 year (20-21 Apr ). There were two stage Drama conducted in village 

a) Sri Valli Thirumanam.
b) Sri Mahamayee

மீண்டும் ரசித்தேன்....

மீண்டும் ரசித்தேன்....

கடந்த ஒரு பத்தாண்டுக்கு மேல் ஜன்னல் ஒரமும், பயண சிநேகிதமும் அறிதாகி போனது.....

எல்லாம் G - களும் WiFi - களும் ஆக்கிரமித்து விட்டது......

ஆம் இந்த "மதிப்பு மிக்க" அனுபவம் மீண்டும் சத்தியமானது  வெளிநாடு 10 மணி நேர ஆகாய விமான பயணத்தில் .....

 மீண்டும் ரசித்தேன்....

நேற்று , அலுவலகத்தில் இரண்டு நண்பர்கள் வர விடுமுறையில் நீச்சல் கற்றுக் கொள்ள நீச்சல் அரங்களுக்கு செல்ல இருப்பதாக, என்னையும் கற்றுக் கொள்ள அழைத்தனர்.

நினைவு கூர்ந்து பார்த்தேன்...

விவசாய செய்யும் குடும்பத்திலும் , கால்நடை வளர்ப்பு சமூத்திலும் பிறந்ததால் , வயல்களில் தொழிஉழவு முடிந்ததும் , மாடுகளை குளிப்பதற்கு பயண்படும் குளங்களுக்கு , எந்தல்களுக்கு கொண்டு செல்லும் போது ,
மாடுகள் உடம்பில் ஒட்டியுள்ள மண் , சூரிய சூட்டில் காத்து கொள்ள , ஆழமான பகுதிக்கு செல்லும் , அவ்வேலையில் மாட்டின் கயிறை லவமாக பிடித்து கொண்டால் யாரும் பயிலாலம் இந்த "நீச்சலை".

எங்கள் வீட்டு மாடுகள் எனக்கு கற்று கொடுத்தன
இந்த " நீச்சலை" எனக்கு......

Yadava Karupu Temple Festival , Kambur (23th Jul 2016)

Yadava Karupu temple is located near our village. This temple has yearly festival. people are from different part of south tamilnadu come to attend this festival. Some group of people pray this temple as family god temple. so they come and stay for 3 days. One of my friend invited me attend this function...

Kambur Village Festival ( 10th Feb - 11th Feb 2016)

Our Ayvathanpatti Village comes under the hamlet village of Kambur Village. As village, we celebrate two village apart from tamilnadu traditional festival.

1.Ayvathanpatti yearly village festival ( Usually celebrated between April to June )

2.Kambur village festival ( usually celebrated between Mid Jan to Feb )

Kambur village festival celebrated by Kambur, Ayvathanpatti and Thennur  village people. It is two days festival.

Main function is “Puravi yadupu” (Mud Horse Travel with God ).
