Dual life - in one page A4 Sheet
It is odd and rare gift for who born and brought in village and study and work on metropolitan cities.
In India, someone born and brought in village their life go along with village environment. They rarely move to city, except for business or Government related work. It may very short term visit. They will back village home after the work.
In Another case, someone born and brought in town or city their life goes along with city and city related cultures. It is very occasionally go and stay in village. They may go to grandparents or relatives home during festival session. Some time they may stay in resorts for short period.
In both cases, that short stay may or may not bring the complete understand or experience of the life style for both environment.
Both life styles have exclusive fun and unique memories.
Few of the notable points..

- Village festival
- Using the natural resources (lake, river and hill ….)

- Latest news up to second ( now days it applicable in villages also after mobile/internet/DTH Broadcast)
- Lot of happenings
- No caste system
- Less fear to take risk in any opportunities
- Knowing and speaking Multiple languages
- Interested game can playable
Those points very much used by who got a chance to live both village and city. It can be called a Dual life.
I like to close this post with one open question!! ( ?? )
Use case: Accident happened for “X” Person
Location of accident: Village
Lot of people around you for moral support, but you won’t get advanced emergency care immediately; sometimes it may not possible to save the life.
Location of accident: City
Lot of medical facilities and advanced emergency care facilities are available to save the life. Around you people looks you to strangers. You may feel refugee. Unless you wake up and tell “Who am I “
It is up to individual to select and choose their life style.

Tata Consultancy Services Open10K Bangalore (27 May 2012)
I started my practice session in mid of April, but I discontinued my practice due to laziness. This time, I like to break my previous best 10K timings, it was last 2 years ambition.
Our regular team ( Vinod, Karappusamy and myself ) reached the stadium around 7:00 am. We were rushing the fill the emergency details in back side for BIB number sheet.
Our event started around 8:00 am. I like to finish with in 1 hr. Initial start up did not go smooth for me as well as complete race also. I was not able complete the Race within one hour.
2. No Commitment with Goal
3. Not worked the towards the Goals
4. Laziness
It is not big target; however it was clear failure for me. I am fixing my target to Hyderabad marathon. Let s achieve new my half marathon self best timing.
One of my friend (Ayan ) said that , Go and enjoy the event and come” at least I did that same.
Thanks to all my friends, colleagues and family members.

Bangalore Musical Orchestras Programs - Lessons Picked up
Madurai district villages are very well famous for stage program from SANGAM Age. It is common in current era also. Every village festival has at least one night, Valli Marriage Drama ( Valli Thirumanam ) or Musical Program. Obviously every born in the district have habit of watching this stage program. In the Musical program and drama, they singers and actors usually play latest hit songs, Famous Actors, Devotional songs and community leader songs (not in all villages). So usually very less chance to miss any “LIVE” programs. It includes from Karakattam to Fashion shows all kind of live programs. Language of program have been in local language.
In Bangalore, during local area festival, Habba and kannada rajyotsava times ,local area people arrange the Musical Orchestras. Anybody have the habit of watching these program obviously leg walk towards function area whenever happens. So lot of chance to see these programs in Bangalore also
Few highlights about Stage Programs in Bangalore:
- Most of Musical programs, they play in songs from Kannada, Telugu, Tamil and Hindi
- Plays latest hit songs in each language
- Program anchor, minimum he/she speaks in upper single digit languages
- Speaks state integration about in each language
- Play song about famous old actor songs and with their body language
- National integration songs (it is there in Madurai dist too, plays in Tamil )
Those points I did not come across when I was in Madurai district.
Bangalore Local area musical program teaches me a lesson “Language is diversity, But Nation is university” and “Cosmopolitan life living in Bangalore”

NITTE CELEBRATION HALF MARATHON, Mangalore (29 Jan 2012)
Mangalore is located in the South Canara / Dakshina Kannada District in Karnataka. It is called “Gateway of Karnataka”. It is business city. I have few good friends in this region. I had very less practice for this marathon.Vinoth and I gathered in Bangalore city railway station on Friday night.
We took the Yesvantpur – Kannur Express. After 12:30 hrs journey from Bangalore we reached Mangalore around 9:30 am. We found some stay near K.C Rao Road (like Town hall road in Madurai, Residency road in Bangalore).
Panambur Beach:Later we moved in Panambur Beach to collect our bib numbers. I was able to read bus route names in Kannada. It is medium size beach. It is located between Mangalore and surathkal and closed to Mangalore port as well as lot of industries. We collected bib number and goodie bag. We took few snaps in beach.

Udupi:We took bus from surathkal to udupi. It is temple city. I visited few times Krishna temple in udupi. I missed to visit Krishna temple when came to Manipal during august so I decided to visit. We got very good darshan in temple in mid day. We missed to have free meals in the temple due our program schedule. This is first time; I missed food in Dakshina Kannada district temples. Most of temples serve the food for everyone.
St. Mary's Island, Malpe:It is very famous beach here. We reached the boat boarding point. it is located the close to port and ship building area. We waited some time for boat. They took us St. Mary’s Island. It was around 30 minute’s travels in sea. We changed boat again in the sea. It was trilling.

We took some snaps and we played some time in the sea water. Beach has different kind of rocks (black). It is unique.

Udupi-Mangalore Highway:
It is one of the famous highway in this region. Still four lane constructions are going on. Mostly private operators are running the bus. Very scary bus travel, because they drove in over speed (I felt). I discussed something with friends. They said that, it is common practice here. We reached Mangalore and went city center Mall. We did small shopping over there.
Race day:
Special bus ( Nitte University bus) was arranged by program organizers. Nitte University is the main Program sponsor. We boarded bus near Bunts Hotel. We met one of the Girls sub-junior state champion in bus, her name is Smitha. We reached on time. We did small starching exercise before starting marathon. Event was very great and plenty of NITTE university students were present and participated. I met few Bangalore runners and as well as our famous photographer Anu too

I participated in half marathon event, Around 200 participants in that event including national and international runners. Event was inaugurated by university vice chancellor around 7.00 am. I was slowly started the race. I had very confident but very less practice.

Every two kilometers water station was there. Race route was Panambur beach - Mlore- Udupi highway - Port area - Village ( 10.5 KMs). Same route was return too. I completed the first 10.5 KMs in 1 hr 5 mins. I was so much tried due high humidity. I did not feel this tiredness when I was running in Mumbai and Chennai marathons. After 2 hrs18 mins , I completed this year’s first half marathon.

By that time vinoth was finished his 10 KMs run and waited for me. He took some nice snaps when about complete the race. They provided the nice and worth medal for completion. Co-ordination commit arranged good refreshment and served by university students. As well as other side some cultural activities was entertaining the audience and runners. We took some group photos and packed from panambur beach.

We reached Managalore KSRTC bus stand around 10:45 am. Our bus started 11 am to Bangalore. We reached Bangalore around 7 pm safely. We had very good fun with heavy and tight program schedule in Mangalore Half Marathon.
My special thanks all my friends, family members and especially for Sudhir and Aravind for provided rich information about this region.
