Madurai district villages are very well famous for stage program from SANGAM Age. It is common in current era also. Every village festival has at least one night, Valli Marriage Drama ( Valli Thirumanam ) or Musical Program. Obviously every born in the district have habit of watching this stage program. In the Musical program and drama, they singers and actors usually play latest hit songs, Famous Actors, Devotional songs and community leader songs (not in all villages). So usually very less chance to miss any “LIVE” programs. It includes from Karakattam to Fashion shows all kind of live programs. Language of program have been in local language.
